Argentinian great Claudio Caniggia has retired from football at the age of 38.

The former Rangers forward, who played alongside stars like Diego Maradona for his national side, told radio station Del Plata in Argentina: "I work out every day, I'm in shape, but after seven months without official activity, I don't want to play football anymore.
