i thought he was a good player to watch, though he liked his elbow on occasions lol

Christophe Dugarry has decided to retire from football despite receiving a tempting offer from Portuguese side Benfica.

The former international forward is the latest member of France's all-conquering side to quit following Emmanuel Petit's decision last week.

The 32-year-old says that he had offers to continue his career, most notably from Benfica, but decided it was time to hang up his boots.
