Juventus defender Nicola Legrottaglie is to disappoint a trio of Premiership clubs by signing for Bologna. Legrottaglie had been linked with Aston Villa, Southampton and West Bromwich Albion but is poised to stay in Serie A. The Italy international has figured only sporadically under Fabio Capello this season and has been keen to move on loan for the rest of the season. Bologna appear to have tempted Legrottaglie into a move, although neither club has confirmed the imminent deal.

i guess a loan move over here, the scouts in italy might not keep a eye on him as much as to compared to moving to bolongan on loan. i cant remember who he played for, am thinking chievo at one point and was supposed to be good. and italy international and they dont make bad defenders. at juve, they bought cannavaro so its always gonna be hard to get in front of him
