Former Rangers captain Craig Moore looks set to leave the club and join his ex-Ibrox boss Dick Advocaat at Borussia Moenchengladbach. Moore has not played for Rangers since September following an operation.

The Australian fell out with boss Alex McLeish earlier in the season over his decision to play in the Olympics.

Advocaat resurrected Moore's career at Rangers when he brought him back to Glasgow from Crystal Palace for a second stint at Ibrox in April 1999.

The former Dutch national coach took over at the German Bundesliga outfit in November and Borussia are struggling at the bottom end of the league table.

Advocaat has also been linked with a possible January move for Rangers striker Shota Arveladze who, like Moore, is out of contract at the end of the season.
