Birmingham have revealed Premiership rivals West Brom have made an offer for Darren Carter. Carter has admitted he would consider leaving St Andrews if he is unable to secure a regular place in Steve Bruce's plans. The 21-year-old enjoyed a loan spell at Sunderland last season and The Black Cats are believed to be keen on bringing him back to Wearside.

it dont sound like Bruce is too bothered about the player leaving if it happens, its like... Its up the player and i dunno, does Carter merit first team football at Birmingham, and West Brom do need to add players to that squad.

i think its supposed to be 5 they are after, could this be number 1?

Birmingham midfielder Darren Carter is keen to hold showdown talks with manager Steve Bruce over his future.

The 21-year-old has been linked with a move to West Brom but he is in the dark over whether a bid has been made.

Carter is keen to speak to Bruce to establish if he is wanted at St Andrews or if he is available for transfer.
