Coca-Cola Divisions: Bruce eyes Nafti deal

Birmingham boss Steve Bruce has revealed he is keen to sign Mehdi Nafti from Racing Santander on a permanent basis. Nafti joined Blues on loan until the end of the season just before the close of the transfer window in January. The 26-year-old has impressed at St Andrews during his short time at the club and Bruce would like to keep him long-term.

Reports in Spain claim Birmingham have reached agreement for the permanent signing of midfielder Mehdi Nafti in a £1 million deal.

The Tunisia international joined Blues on loan from Racing Santander during the January transfer window.

That deal runs until the end of the season, but Steve Bruce has seen enough to push ahead with a permanent transfer.
