Coca-Cola Divisions: Mario magic causes fracas

Birmingham defender Mario Melchiot has conceded that his showboating was partly to blame for the tunnel spat with Aston Villa on Sunday. Steve Bruce's side were always in control against their Midlands counterparts and Melchiot even had time to showcase his skills towards the end of the game. Villa's players, and in particular Lee Hendrie, did not take kindly to Melchiot's taunting and a series of on-the-field spats reportedly continued into the tunnel.
