Crystal Palace star Andy Johnson believes that he has proved his point to former manager Steve Bruce.

Johnson was allowed to leave Birmingham by Bruce but has established himself as one of The Premiership's hottest strikers this season, earning a first England cap in the process.

The Palace fan-favourite has scored three times in the two Premiership games between the sides this season - and Johnson feels he has shown that letting him go was a mistake.
