Celtic's on-loan striker Henri Camara could spend the rest of the season at Southampton. Saints boss Harry Redknapp has confirmed he wants to borrow
the Senegal international, who is on loan at Parkhead from Wolves for the season.
He told the Daily Record: "We have made an enquiry about Camara and we are trying to take him on loan for the rest of the season.
"I don't know how close to a deal but (chairman) Rupert Lowe has been in touch with Celtic."
Henri Camara's proposed loan move to Southampton is off.
Camara is on a season-long loan at Celtic from Wolves, but has been linked with a similar move to St Mary's. Southampton boss Harry Redknapp had
confirmed his interest in signing the Senegal international on loan as he looks to bolster his attacking options. Celtic were willing to do a deal for
Camara to enable him to move to Southampton on loan for the rest of the season. Wolves have blocked the loan deal and insist they are only interested
in a permanent transfer for the African ace.
