Coca-Cola Divisions: Cruel blow for Quashie

Southampton have been dealt a huge blow with the news that new signing Nigel Quashie could be ruled out for months with a knee injury. The 26-year-old completed his move to St Mary's from bitter South Coast rivals Portsmouth last week in a 2.1 million deal.

The Scotland international was expected to make his debut in Saturday's game with Liverpool but has been sidelined by a training ground injury. He has twisted his knee damaging ligaments, and boss Harry Redknapp is sweating over the severity of the problem, admitting he could be out of action for months.
