Harry Redknapp says Southampton goalkeeper Antti Niemi is not for sale this month.
Redknapp is making it perfectly clear the Finnish international is not going anywhere in the January transfer window - after the player and chairman
Rupert Lowe both rejected the suggestion.
"If we let Antti go, then we might as well all go home," said Redknapp, who sold striker James Beattie to Everton for 6.5million last week after
insisting the England man would not be released following his arrival from Fratton Park.
Redknapp had to change his mind over Beattie after realising his sale would be the only way of generating real money for his own purchases - apart
from sacrificing Niemi - and has since brought in son Jamie and defender Calum Davenport from Tottenham.
