Coca-Cola Divisions: Eagles eye Djetou

Martin Djetou's search for a new club continues as he is lined up to train with Crystal Palace next week.

The Frenchman has not been paid by Parma for several months and Fifa have granted him permission to move on a free transfer.

Wily Southampton boss Harry Redknapp took the opportunity to run the rule over the former Fulham loanee last week, but Palace are also going to offer a trial to a player who can either perform a holding role in midfield or operate as a centre back.

Djetou is due to link up with Iain Dowie's Eagles on Tuesday and a final decision on his future will be taken before the end of next week.
