Bush expands law promoting adoption


WASHINGTON (Reuters) -- Young Terrance Martin could not let President George W. Bush get away with mistakenly saying he was just 6 years old when he was really 7.

It happened in the Roosevelt Room at the White House on Tuesday when Bush signed the Adoption Promotion Act of 2003, which renews tax credits for adoptions and encourages families to find homes for more than 500,000 children in foster care.

Before signing the legislation Bush talked about the need for more adoptions as he stood with Christopher and Diana Martin and their seven children, four of them adopted.

Terrance interrupted the president in mid-speech under the glaring television lights to point out he was not 6.

"How old are you?" Bush asked.

"Seven," said Terrance.

"OK, seven," said Bush, as the crowd chuckled. "I'll take it up with the fact-checker."

Bush is a #ing dumbass. He could atleast have taken the time to get the ages of the kids standing right in front of him. Its pretty sad when a 7yr old has to correct him. Hes been president for 3 years and I still have TONS of material on him for jokes at the Comedy Hour. But im gonna trash it all when the next prez comes. I wanna stay up on the times. All i can say is it BETTER be a Democrat.

Look, the guy's an idiot. I hear his ridiculous gaffes eeveryday on internet radio. They record them for laughs. He is an embarassment to this country.

Only in front of the Camera are such flubs put out for public consumption. Bush is not a Lawyer, as you are. He did not train for his job. Speaking has not been nor ever will be his forte. I won't dispute that. He freezes in front of the camera, that is what causes most of his blunders. I have spoken with people who speak to him firsthand, and I have been assured that his speach is well spoken when personal, if a little slower due to his accent. What is truly embarassing is people who make a living by living off of hate, as so many liberal pundits do nowadays

You guys really need some serious help. One baffoon says its better to be a democrat because Bush's aid told him a bad number and says he is going to stay on top of politics. Yeah. Stuff like this is politics. We really do need an intelligence test for potential voters.

Colonel, I am a lousy typest. At best I use three fingers and make alot of mistakes. You might say it is the equivalent of Bush's verbal gaffs. But just as Bush spent the first term running circles around the Democrats politically, I run circles around you.

You know, the only place the Dems have been able to do a thing is by blocking the judicial appointments. Wow, how much intelligence does the entire democratic party need to perform that? They are so hell bent for leather to appoint their liberal political activists, they can't stand the thoughts of a decent judge being appointed. Why is this? Because most of America is still not totally stupid and won't allow garbage to go through congress or vote according to the Dummycrats' wishes on a direct vote, so they circumvent the system by hijacking the judicial system.

Yeah, the Dummycrats have so many reasons to be proud.

As far as the whole dasmned world, Colonel, the whole damned world despises us, resents us and is pretty jealous of us. So, because of this, we shouldn't protect ourselves? Apparently, Colonel, Bush is smart enough to understand the right thing to do is not always the popular thing. I'm still waiting for the sky to fall as has been predicted by the Dummycrats and liberals. Plenty of time, though, he'll have four more years to bring down the sky.

I dont know about the whole worlds opinion on our president nor do I care since we the people of America elect him. But since you brought it up , it seems that in the latest polls 61% approve of Mr. Bush, so I guess that kind of ruins your sentemant that the American people dont agree with him or his politics huh.....Hurts doesnt it?
