Can anyone tell me wht my dream means?

I was walking down a road, with a boy on the otherside, shouting at me. When i got to the end of the road, he appeared infront of me and said something, i strangled him, and his body floated away. In a few seconds, i was home, and my family were crying over a wax statue of the boy....what does this mean?

Dreaming that you are having difficulty breathing and are in danger of dying as a result may carry important messages for the dreamer. This type of a dream experience is usually very frightening, and at times people are awakened from their dream due to the fear. This dream may have several different explanations and the catalysts may be forces from either within the individuals emotional and psychological makeup or circumstances on the outside of the individual. The suffocation is either do to internal forces or an external situation. The dreamer may experience great difficulties when it comes to free self expression. They may have difficulties in expressing their fear, anger, love, or any other powerful emotion and are literally choking on them in their dream. Choking in your dream suggests that you are having problems in communicating your thoughts, needs, and feelings. Additionally, smothering may imply that the dreamer can not accept certain situations in their life and is feeling suffocated by a current problem. To interpret this dream accurately consider all of the details in it, think about your daily life and those things that cause you great stress and restrict your freedom. Finally, try to connect your dream with your daily life experiences and unlock the symbolism that the dream holds for you

thx for the site!

Your dream means nothing. Its bull sh*t. Most dreams mean absolutely nothing. Most of my dreams are bull sh*t dreams. I've had some of my dreams analysed, i'll be told they mean something, but it will turn out they don't. I'm doubting that dreams can be meaningful,God sends people dreams of signifigance all the time, its just that most of the regular weird dreams you have don't mean anything.

While not all dreams are significant (some weird dreams can be caused by medication/drugs or different foods) if you feel like a dream meant something it probably did.

Dreams aren't visions from God (usually). If you are anxious, angry, upset or suppressing something that bothers you, it doesn't go away just because you avoid thinking about it while you are awake. It gets pushed into your subconscious and manifests itself in dreams, and/or begins to silently influence your waking actions/thoughts.

As for the dream in question, Monk, are you coming to a point or decision in life, that you fear or feared as a child? Is it possible the boy represents your inner child or a childhood fear trying to get your attention or tell you something you don't want to hear? By strangling him you silenced the voice, but a part of you (represented by your family) felt a sense of loss at his death, and built an reminder of him in the form of a wax statue, so that he could not be forgotten completely.

Just a thought and it very likely is completely off base. It was just the impression I got from your description.

The answer to your dream is this: the small boy you kill in your dream is a younger part of you which you are changing. Although I do not know this I gather that you are probably pretty young and before your late 20's. The whole dream represents a leap you are taking in which a part of you, you character is being left behind. The wax statue and your family represent their feelings and the part of you that is now no longer present and their reaction towards it.

change....the person you killed off is you or a part of yourself...very significant I think

I find dreams fascinating because sometimes they do have meanings. Sometimes parts of a dream might actually happen in real life or it might lead to something ironic. As for Monk's dream, anyone could be right or wrong about what its signifigance is.

Ok speaking of dreams. When I was a teen oh so long ago
I use to be able to fall in my sleep. But I would always wake up. I wanted to see what happens if I was to try to not wake up.

Well I went to sleep early that night and concentrated really hard on trying to produce my freefall. Usually I can control my dreams like a remote to a TV if I don't like the dream I switch channels. *usually stopping at porn channels
) Anyway so I switched to my frefall dream.

Then as soon as I started my freefall I did it instead of waking up I was still feeling the sensation but not as scary to wake up. I remember getting up and seeing my body still asleep. I wasn;t alarmed so I went to my door and passed my mother in the hall. I continued on to see my brother playing Ninetendo. About this time my mom knocked on my door to say good night. I remember it felt like I was having a heart attack. I could not wake up. I looked down the hall at my mom trying to wake me.
My heart must have been pounding a 1000 times a minute. Finally I rush down the hall into my room to see myself still asleep, As soon as I touched my face I woke up.

Petrified and cold sweat and hyperventilating. I have never been able to freefall again no matter how many times I have tried, I would give anything to be able to do it again to see how far I can go.

Anyone ever had anything like that to happen? I also dream of events before they happen not just like details but similular.

uh dude you do realise that when you really "hit the bottom" you could die.

it's like, if you die in your dream, theres a real chance that you die in real life.

kinda like the matrix lol.

Heh yeah, I had heard the old wives tale. Some how I thought I could control it. At least try to make it last a lil longer then wake up. Sad thing is I will never find out since I haven't been able to do it for over 16 years now. I was around 16 or 17 when I did it.

I read a book about outer body expiriences. It sounds alot like that. There are people that say they can meditate and cause themselves to float away. I tried doing that too. But I have never been able to do it again

Wow, that is something I never knew could 'possibly' happen. I don't like the feeling of free falls and I usually wake-up the instant I feel like I'm falling. Would (ALPHA), have anything to do with it?

I heard somewhere that dreams are things that you didnt deal with during your day that your subconscious picks up. Like if you had someone be rude to you, and you didnt confront them. Stuff like that triggers dreams. Did you have a kid make faces at you? Maybe you wanted to kill him. haha jk.
