I searched before posting this- "no matches found"

a pretty useful bit of info when it comes to drawing conclusions about many of the mysteries of life and beyond-

Carl Sagan's approach in "The Demon Haunted World: Science as a candle in the dark", was to extensively quote the tabloid The Weekly World News. His results are skewed at best as a result.

Right. His views on looking for facts in this baloney detection kit thing are valid, but he himself disregarded all real physical data on many things regarding the unknown. Especially UFOs/extraterrestrial visitation. Whatever the case, Sagan did not practice what he preached.
