Derby County have signed Newcastle United's Gary Caldwell on a two-month loan.

Scottish Under-21 international Caldwell came through the youth system at Newcastle before spending loan spells at Darlington, Hibernian and Coventry City.

Derby have signed Portsmouth striker Lee Bradbury on a month's loan.

The 28-year-old is in his second spell at Fratton Park but was sent out on loan to Sheffield Wednesday last season after falling out of favour.

And George Burley has snapped him up to bolster his front line.

Yeah they also signed Brummie defender
Micheal Johnson on a 3 year deal.

Derby County have moved to quell speculation the club is on the verge of being sold.

Chairman Lionel Pickering has made no secret of his desire to offload the Rams with an asking price having been set in the �5m to �8million range.

A Midlands radio station sparked fresh speculation a takeover was imminent but the Rams have since denied a deal is on the cards.

A statement released by the club read: "The ownership of Derby County has not changed.

"Chairman Lionel Pickering has made clear his desire to relinquish his controlling interest to an individual or consortium with the club's interests at heart.

"But although talks have been taking place with interested parties, there is nothing further to report at present."

Well Derby's unbeaten run came to end they got beat by non other than WEST HAM...!!!!! the hammers won 1-0 in a close contest...

I see derby have gone back to their old ways but they did come up against the BEST team in the 1st div WEST HAM..

Well after that good spell derby seem to have gone downhill again,but their is a long way to go and looking at other teams in the league i think they should be ok...
