By Anthony Evans: WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko will undergo surgery to remove a bone spur from his back, forcing his already twice postponed defence against Hasim Rahman back to at least September.
The fight, a mandatory which Klitschko decided to take early, was originally scheduled for New York on April 30 but was put back to June 18 when the champion injured his leg while out jogging in preparation for the fight. Then the fight postponed once more - to June 18 - to allow Klitschko more time to heal.
