SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - A boxing promoter has filed a lawsuit against former heavyweight champion Riddick Bowe, trying to keep him from a fight scheduled for Thursday because negotiations for a Utah bout fell apart last month.

Louisiana-based Lion Heart Boxing Productions Ltd. contends in the lawsuit filed Friday in U.S. District Court that Goosen Tutor Promotions and Fox Sports persuaded Bowe to instead fight Ogden native Billy "The Kid" Zumbrun on Thursday at the Pechanga Resort & Casino in California.
