Boxing: Tszyu is ready says Fuller

By Paul Upham in Phoenix: Kostya Tszyu sparring partner and lightweight contender Damian Fuller says the undisputed junior welterweight champion is ready to dispel any suggestions that the 35 year-old Russian born-Australian citizen is over the hill.

"Kostya's looking good," Fuller told SecondsOut after sparring three rounds with Tszyu on Monday at the Central Boxing Club. "He's strong and his hand speed is good. He's not old. Kostya is only old in wisdom. He's been around all the corners a couple of times now so he knows what to do and what not to do. From the last time I seen him, his hand speed is coming along. He is still as strong as ever with his aggressive punching. I think he's ready."
