Boxing: PABA cites milestones at WBA Convention

By Salven L. Lagumbay: The Pan-Asian Boxing Association organized 71 championship matches last year, courtesy of 18 promoters from seven countries namely Australia, Indonesia, Philippines, Russia, Thailand, New Zealand and Korea.

Last year also saw two former PABA champions become legitimate holders of the World Boxing Association titles as featherweight Chris John of Indonesia and middleweight Maselino Masoe of New Zealand proved they are at par with the world's best.
