Boxing: Johnson back before end of the year

Roy Jones destroyer Glen Johnson will return from a well-earned vacation this weekend and will be back at work in his Florida gym on Monday, hoping aiming to make a second defence of his IBF light heavyweight championship before Christmas.

Johnson all but ended the Hall of Fame career of four division virtuoso Jones when he sparked out the former pound-for-pound No.1 after dishing out a fierce nine round beat-down in Memphis on September 25.

Now he wants to fight again before the end of the year.
