WBC Interim super middleweight champion Danny Green is back training daily at the Team Fenech gymnasium in Marrickville, Sydney and will return to the ring in early October. The "Green Machine" has had an extended break from boxing since his last win over Sean Sullivan on March 21 when he suffered severe dehydration and collapsed in his dressing room after the fight.

"I feel real good. I have been training really hard and just working on getting back to the basics," Green told SecondsOut on Tuesday. "I needed a good long break physically. It was a sign my body was giving me and I listened. The break has done me good and it has put things into perspective. I realise how much I've missed being inside the ring. I've missed training and fighting. I'm doing a lot of glove work with Jeff and that's when I fight the best when Jeff and I train one on one."
