Boxing: THE THUNDER TEACHES LEONARD A LESSON

Arturo Gatti underlined his threat to the best in the light-welterweight decision with an impressive second-round stoppage of Leonard Dorin in Atlantic City on Saturday night.

The Thunder recorded his 28th victory in 44 attempts to retain his WBC title and hammer out a warning to the likes of Floyd Mayweather Jnr, Sharmba Mitchell, Kostya Tszyu, Miguel Cotto, Vivian Harris and of course, Ricky Hatton.

Romanian-born Dorin came into the fight unbeaten in 23 and was expected to post a real threat to Gatti's return to the top echelons of the division, but in reality was taught a lesson by a man who looks to be back to his very best.
