Boxing: Toney seeking 'statement fight'

Bad A$$ heavyweight James Toney is back in the gym and in full training after fully recovering the torn Achilles tendon which laid him low in January. And the SecondsOut (and many other publications) Fighter of 2003 will make up for lost time by making a dramatic impact on the pretty stagnant heavyweight waters.

Promoter Dan Goossen told SecondsOut: "We're working on a few things with James right now. To say it succinctly, we will take the biggest fight out there for us right out of the box. James and I both want "statement" type of fights: Tyson, Klitschko, any of the world champions and even Antonio Tarver - if he really has the guts to come up and fight James at heavyweight.
