Unbeaten Ulsterman Brian Magee wades out into the deeper waters for the first time this Saturday night when he defends his IBO super-middleweight
title against the world-class Robin Reid at the King's Hall, Belfast. A crowd of just shy of 5000 is expected for what is the biggest fight not only
of Magee's career, but the biggest fight in Northern Ireland for years.
Manager Pat Magee (no relation) told SecondsOut Monday: "This is really the fight for Brian to step up and make everyone take notice. This is it. No one can deny the winner of this fight deserves a fight against a WBC or WBA title immediately afterwards, because these two are both top five or six fighters."
