In a fantastic boxing night at the traditional Luna Park stadium in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Francisco Mora and Mariano Carrera scored great wins in the double-header middleweight events.

Mora, captured the WBA Fedelatin title knocking-out defender title-holder Marcos Díaz in the eight, after a dramatic fifth when both fighters were dropped.

Mora, 44-9 (31 ) is the current Argentine and South American super-welterweight champion and used his physical strenght to steamroll his bigger rival that falls to 17-2 (12).

Olympian Mariano Carrera stopped former WBO world champion Héctor Javier Velazco in ten, to added the vacant WBO Intercontinental title, to his Argentine and WBO Latino belts. Velazco was clearly ahead in all cards and Carrera has been deducted three points for throwing away his mouthpiece.
