Ricardo Mayorga is stating to the press in Nicaragua that he's just about ready to retire.

"I'm bored with boxing. I only want two more fights, including the one against Tito Trinidad, and I will retire from the ring," Mayorga said.

Mayorga has become part of the latest trend of boxers that have criminal charges filed against them. Sergio Cortes of Nicaragua has accused Mayorga of threatening him with a pistol and punching him in the face. Mayorga has also been hauled into court in cases ranging from alleged abuse of his ex-wife to illegal drag racing to failure to return rented videotapes.

Retiring already? Thats a bit of a surprise. Well lets hope he does get that fight on with Tito befoe he does.
