Audley Harrison has no doubts he can put his problems to one side when the bell goes to start Saturday night's WBF heavyweight title defence against Poland's unbeaten Tomasz Bonin at London's Alexandra Palace.

The Sydney 2000 Olympic gold medallist, who will be ditched by the BBC after the fight, insists his preparations have not been affected by that decision or this week's campaign to set up a clash with British and Commonwealth champion Matt Skelton on Sky.

"I'm in great shape. There is a lot going on at the moment in my career and I think the fact I'm in the greatest condition of my life shows you what kind of character I am," he said.

"It hasn't affect my training. My ethos is that if you have got something on the table it's in your best interests to clear that stuff off the table rather than let it pile up.
