Thus, I do not find it difficult to believe that base 99 exists though I have to admit this is my first hearing of it. There must be hundreds of them now.

i think "area 51" refers to the grid area or geographic location of the site. this is what i always understood the "51" to be. i could be wrong though

im pretty sure area 99 doesnt exist btw the Areas arent the real base names they are just the Area grid number in nevada and theres only like sumthin arouns 75 grids

i accidently wiped my post when i went into edit the post to add the link..
but could area 99 be Area 51's sister site in russia?..
(that was the gist of what I was saying,
being that russia and the USA are really allies at the highest level..

like i said i dont thing area 99 exists it only goes from 1- somewhere around 70 or 80

and if it does exists it wouldnt have that much secrecy the most weirdest ones are Area 51 and Area 19
