Cycling: Matt Mega streaked to the lead in Tuesday's race

Matt Mega rode a teammate engine train that motored past a two-man breakaway to win Tuesday evening's Bryan Park Cycling Series. Though, with one lap to go, it looked as if the Richmond Ciclismo team was trying to set Mega up for a sprint for a third place finish.

At the bell lap, the designated sprinter for Richmond Ciclismo patiently rode behind team-mates Matt Forbes and Stephen Selby. Meanwhile, about 10 seconds ahead of the pack, Glen Allen resident Rob Suydam, riding for Virginia Beach Velo/East Coast Bicycles, and Ciclismo's John Schindler looked as if they would finish first and second.
