I gotta admit, this chick has me all a flutter. Good thing I don't live in Australia, too, I might turn into a stalker...

Born on Octover 8th, 1975, in St Petersburg, Russia, this world class pole vaulter first caught the eyes of the world at the 2000 Olympics, where she took the silver medal. And we haven't stoppd watching since...

Did you know Tatiana is only the 2nd Russian women to have a rose named after her?

Did you know Tatiana has an older sister living in Russia?

Tatiana seeks new heights to climb

Tatiana Grigorieva's event involves overcoming obstacles but in the past year the 2000 Olympic silver medallist has had to conquer more than her fair share.
She has battled injury, been left out of the Australian Olympic team and, most significantly, lived through the butter break up of her marriage to fellow pole vaulter Viktor Chistiakov.
A less determined person might have simply packed up her poles, avoided the public embarrassment and headed back to her native Russia.
Instead, as she returned to the Gold Coast from a Christmas holiday in Europe with her parents, Grigorieva resolved that 2005 would be a new start in Australia, the country she reservedly calls home.

Apparently, she's not married any more. Do you think she'll accept my invitation to console her?
