Kelly Holmes is set to be named in the British team for the European Indoor Championships even though she is yet to commit herself to the event. The
double Olympic champion will be the first choice for the 1,500metres when the selectors announce their team on Tuesday. Holmes, who won the 1,000m at
the Norwich Union Indoor Grand Prix in Birmingham on Friday night, missed the trials in Sheffield three weeks ago but achieved the qualifying time in
Glasgow last month.
alot will be pinned on her to do well. as am sure she will. winning the 1000 metres the other night will give her confidence for the big event if she
goes.
lets just hope, that she does want to go. i think she will go though, as shes regarded very highly in this kind of sport
