Bwaha, Australia makes an early break to the head of the medals tally, with 2 golds (one to Ian Thorpe, and a world record to the girls 4x100 Free) 1 silver (Grant Hackett coming in Behind thorpe in the 400 free) and a Bronze (girls synchro diving, also the only team at the olympics consisting entirely of mothers).

I think we should just call it finished now. Save everyone the pain.

We are gonna get rolled as soon as we leave the pool, but hey its fun to ponce around while we can (and pretend to understand the slightest thing about synchronised diving).
