Warrington have been linked with a move for talented Melbourne Storm half-back Matt Orford. The 26-year-old came third in the National Rugby League's player-of-the-year voting last season but is out of contract at the end of the current campaign. Orford's agent, George Mimis, told the Sydney Morning Herald: "We're deep in discussion with Melbourne in regards to Matt.

"But the English market, including Warrington, has expressed very, very strong interest in his services. Warrington are one of probably five clubs who are interested."
