Rugby, Australian Football: New injury blow for Saracens

Saracens have suffered a major injury blow with the loss of their England back Dan Scarbrough for four months.

Scarbrough, who joined Saracens from Leeds during the summer, will undergo shoulder reconstruction surgery next week.

He aggravated a shoulder injury in training this week, and an operation has been decreed as the best course of action following an assessment by club medical staff.

Scarbrough, 26, was capped by England in a World Cup warm-up match against Wales last year, and is a member of the elite national squad.
