Rugby, Australian Football: Dallaglio out for London Wasps v London Irish clash

Lawrence Dallaglio is the latest member of London Wasps' squad to join their ranks of walking wounded and now misses Sunday's clash with London Irish.

Number eight Dallaglio injured his ribs in the 13-9 defeat of Leeds Tykes, in which he scored a rare drop goal, but expects to be back in time for the trip to Northampton on October 2.

Coach Warren Gatland is now without eight front line players.

Stuart Abbott (shoulder), Craig Dowd (Achilles), Rob Howley (wrist), Josh Lewsey (hand), Martin Purdy (shoulder), Simon Shaw (neck) and Fraser Waters (ankle) are all injured although England centre Waters could return this week.

Gatland says the absentees are a problem but there is no crisis.
