Sale Sharks have signed Argentinian lock Juan Pablo Lagarrigue on a three-month trial.

Lagarrigue, who has had a previous spell in Europe with Italian club Catania, joins the Sharks from Argentine side Tucuman.

Lagarrigue's arrival could help compensate for the loss of fellow Argentinian forward Ignacio Fernandez Lobbe, who has been ruled out for four months with a knee injury.
