Rugby, Australian Football: Smith makes Raiders switch

Hull FC captain Jason Smith has agreed a one-year contract with National Rugby League side Canberra Raiders.

The 32-year-old former Australia international will return to his homeland at the end of the current Super League season.

He has spent the last four years at Hull, including three as captain, and the move ends speculation that he was poised to hang up his boots.
