England lock Danny Grewcock has been banned from rugby until August 31.
The Bath forward appeared at a disciplinary hearing in Auckland on Sunday after being cited for reckless use of the boot during England's 36-12 second
Test defeat against New Zealand.
Grewcock, who was accompanied at the hearing by England head coach Sir Clive Woodward and Richard Smith QC, will miss next Saturday's World Cup final
rematch against Australia in Brisbane.
But in terms of games, that could be the extent of his punishment, as England then do not play again until November and the Zurich Premiership season
does not kick off until September 4.
Grewcock was found guilty by a three-man panel of reckless use of the boot to All Blacks centre Daniel Carter's head.
Woodward described the hearing as fair, and is now set to go with a second-row partnership of Simon Shaw and Steve Borthwick against Australia.
