England star Mike Tindall faces a long spell on the sidelines after breaking a leg in the game against The Saracens on Saturday.Tindall whilst playing for Bath was stretchered off after scoring a try.It will more than likely keep him out of Englands defence of the RBS Six Nations Tournament..

A scan has revealed that England centre Mike Tindall's ankle injury is less serious than first feared.

An initial X-ray showed no break and Tindall will return to the Royal Bath United Hospital for further checks on Sunday.

Looks like he will be out after all..

Tindall has ruptured all three of the lateral ligaments in his right ankle and must undergo an operation this week before then embarking on a 12-week rehabilitation programme which will force him to sit out England's Grand Slam defence...
