Cricket: Malaysia, India Declared Joint Winners Of U-16 C'wealth Cricket

NEW DELHI, Oct 10 (Bernama) -- Malaysia and India were declared joint winners of the Under-16 Commonwealth Cricket series when the final was washed out due to heavy rain here Sunday afternoon.

Earlier, Malaysia won the toss and put India to bat. The Indian side scored 142 runs in 122 balls, losing only one wicket.

Robin Bisht of India scored 78 runs and Hemant Singh 40 runs.
