Warwickshire have announced that Heath Streak has signed a one-year contract to continue as an overseas player at Edgbaston next season.

The 30-year-old former Zimbabwe captain took 13 wickets on his championship debut for the county against Northamptonshire last month.

He was then sidelined for three weeks because of a stomach muscle problem and now faces a further layoff after a recurrence of the injury.
