On medical advise he has retired from the game.

He had been getting injury problems during the later stages of his career and things was getting worse for him. He only joined Celtic halfway through last season after a bit of controversy made him leave Man United, but at least he got to play for his boyhood heroes before he packed it in.

One of the best midfielders of his generation i have seen play..

Not that suprised to be honest, he has struggled the last few years.

Great player for United over the years without a doubt.

woops, i made an error. He did better than i thought he did

He played 13 games, including the defeat against Clyde which was his debut. He collected a championship medal as he had played just over 10 league games.

Cost the club around 500k for just less than 6 months
