Swindon manager Iffy Onuora has dismissed claims Ron Atkinson is to help him guide the fortunes of the Coca-Cola League One club.

Former Manchester United and Aston Villa manager Atkinson is set to arrive at the County Ground on Thursday in his first job in football since he was sacked as an ITV pundit over racist remarks aimed at Marcel Desailly.

But Swindon's black manager Onuora has revealed Atkinson will be at Swindon as part of a Sky TV team filming a behind-the-scenes documentary about the club. Onuora has also revealed Atkinson will not have a role at the relegation-threatened club and will not act as a consultant.

Well after his racist comments, i didn't think he would be back in football at all in any sort of way.....

am suprised at this too, and its ironic its a black manager at the club

i wonder how the manager feels working along with Ron
