Football: King out

Ledley King has become the latest defender to pull out of England's squad for the friendly with the Netherlands on Wednesday.

Chelsea centre half John Terry called off on Monday, following Rio Ferdinand, Sol Campbell and Matthew Upson into the treatment room, and he has now been joined by Tottenham defender King.

The Spurs stopper has blossomed under Sven Goran Eriksson and has become a regular feature of the Swede's international squads.

I guess it doesn't matter too much if some of the regulars pull out as they are virtually gaurenteed there place.

Yeah it is a bit of a joke to be honest. If they are fit for their club in the next game then they should get a fine or something lol!
