1,2,18,35...that's the way my luck has been running so far this year, wasting good results with a couple of bad finishes each week...

Yeah, what in the world happened to Nemechek? He was right up there with about 50 to go.

I was 1, 3, 17, and 19. Not bad, but others did much better.

Still 32 races to go.

Hey not a bad week for me... 1,2,3 and Nemechek in 35th lol! Damm i took out Riggs and he finished 9th, i made a bit of a mistake there and if i had left him in i would have been top... 3rd place is good enough for me though...

Nemmy was in the top 10 with about 25 or so laps to go.

Was he, damm thats even worse... I have picked Riggs for the all the races so far except the last one. I thought Nemechek has been right up there at the front end every race only for something to go wrong in the last few laps. And maybe last week would be the one he does well in.

I had a rather fortunate week, too, only Austin outscored me, and I'm only 80 points out of first place, anothe rweek li8ke this and I'm near the top...not that I expect that anytime soon, though...

Gibbs i found last season that it was consistancy that won the day, you could have a great week then a real bad one that knocks you right down, but scoring like 250- 300 each week rathering than scoring huge a couple of times...consistancy won the league, not a big score here and there...

well, consistently improving....

it seems that the way this is set up by yahoo, there is much more luck to this game than other fantasy sports. They have grouped the drivers with similar abilities/success into catagories, and if you are lucky enough to pick the guys in those groups who don't get into major acidents/other vehicle problems, you'll do good for the week.

after another week off in what seems to a sputtering start to the season we start on a streak of 17 straight weekends with a race (counting the non points race at charlotte) the next 2 races are on short tracks where a driver can lose it all in the blink of an eye....while i get excited about a lot of races this weeks track, bristol, is my favorite of the whole season, this sundays day race and the night race later in the year are very likely to be the 2 most exciting races of the season....pick your drivers and cross your fingers, you can do well or lose a lot of points in an instant.....

Any hints for a rookie fantasy racer?

pick your drivers and cross your fingers....this is a 1/2 mile track with the corners banked 36 degrees, the qualifying record is over 148 mph....mix all this in with a 43 car field that all want to get to the front...that is why this is nascar's toughest ticket,

before it's over there will be a lot of this, just got to hope your drivers aren't involved

i will be here and do the best that i can, as you can probably tell by the pics above the action is fast and furious at bristol, often it is hard to keep up with what is going on
