Let the discussion begin...my vote is for Dale Earnhardt Jr. He is always consistent and on his way to becoming a legend like his father. Check out his sponsor's website for more info on him. Whose your top dog??

well it wouldn't be Earnhardt Jr. how many races has he won this year? how many championships does he have? where is he in the points standings? even though i despise him i'm gonna have to say Jeff Gordon, he's 31 or 32, has over 70 wins, and 4 championships. If he drives till he's 45 he should have 8 or 9 championships and over 100 wins. When Jr. gets to the 50 win point and has a couple championships then i may start to consider him for top nascar driver, not likely though.

I'm not much of a NASCAR fan, but I'd have to say Jeff Gordon, and not only because of the reasons that aegis just listed. Also because that ticks off a lot of other fans.

that does tick off alot of fans, but not nearly as bad as when you say Dale Jr. is a tool, and if it weren't for his last name he couldn't get a ride at a little podunk track racing for beer money, that really sets alot of them off.
