NASCAR: Matt Kenseth 2003 Winston Cup champion

Matt Kenseth clinched the 2003 winston cup today. He finished 4th in today's race which was won by Bill Elliot whom was on a winless streak that dated back to the brickyard 400 in 2002. A pretty exciting day for me since my avatar is kenseths yellow and black dewalt tools car. well off to the local watering hole for a couple beers.

since the cup is in place the big race is for who will finish second. jimmy johnson currently holds that position with dale jr. close behind. could be an exciting weekend in homestead next week.

Congrats to Matt Kenseth. He deserves it, he was very consistent and will probably win a few more of these although he is actually the last "Winston Cup" winner ever, next year it'll be the "Nextel" cup.
