WWE: ECW PPV News: Matt Hardy, Top Matches, Debuting Talent

As was reported earlier, Johnny Swinger did appear on tonight's ECW PPV as part of the group at the end.

After parodying the Hardy/Edge situation for weeks on television, WWE's mask over the incident was removed when Heyman mentioned Hardy by name in attacking Edge. Earlier in the broadcast, Joey Styles also shot on Edge for his actions.

Going into the show, the big question mark was Awesome-Tanaka. Suffice it to say, the reaction to that match from insiders was extremely positive; most consider it one of the better bouts on the show.

Tanaka took alot of bumps and Awesome, was frankly awesome.
The reaction was muted to start but as soon as the moves were busted out the fans couldn't help but get involved.
