Many backstage in WWE are concerned for Batista's title reign following his victory at Wrestlemania. After he ends his feud with Triple H, WWE doesn't feel that there are strong enough heels on RAW to put him over. One possibility is to have him feud with Edge, but again Edge isn't a solid main event player to help put Batista over. There is a possibility that someone like Orton, Benoit, or HBK would turn heel to help put him over, but that is very remote as well. If WWE can not scramble something up soon Batista may drop the title back to Triple H as soon as Backlash.

Ted Di Biase recently interviewed for the SmackDown! writing team consultant postion. Kevin Sullivan recently interviewed for the same position. Just a reminder, Paul Heyman is definitely out of WWE's creative department altogether. He was caught listening into a RAW meeting when he wasn't supposed to. He will also not play any part in putting together the ECW PPV in June.

During the trip to Japan Christ Benoit among others got together and talked about the downfall of WCW. There isn't really any particular reason why, seeing as Benoit and Bischoff see eachother every week on RAW. It was something that just came up.

Batista is staying with Raw after he threw Ric Flair out of the ring and gave Triple H a Batista bomb threw a table.

I really hope they don't bugger up his turn on Evolution like they did Orton's.

There has been a build up of tension between the two as far as Batista is concerned for a few weeks now, i am surprised it hasn't kicked off before now.... can't wait for Raw next week though....

I thought they was pushing Batista and they are saying if they can't find good enough heels to fight him they are giving the title back to HHH... Pftt what a load of bull...

Some are worried that Batista's promo skills may hurt him when getting over with the fans. The situation reminds some of Sting and Godlberg in WCW, how they were really over before they started cutting big promos and people realized that they couldn't talk as well as others on the mic. Being a man of few words is working right now for Batista, so it will be interesting to see how long WWE keeps it up.
